17th and Oak
17th & Oak is an experienced designer and illustrator. He mixes a unique illustrative style with oodles of design knowledge. Taking influence from the world around him and combining it with a steady diet of pop culture that reflects his passion for movies, typography and music. He strives to give the 'WOW' factor as well as telling a story throughout all his pieces of art. 17th & Oak began illustrating back in 2012. In 2017, he landed himself a commission from Universal Pictures to create posters for movie marketing. Since then, he has worked with many top-level clients as well as Universal Pictures these include Empire Magazine, Ben & Jerry’s, Warner Bros, Paramount, Disney, Pixar and Riot Games. 17th & Oak started his journey in the creative industry as a graphic designer. However, after ten years of building up experience in the industry, he decided to switch up his role to a freelance illustrator. He gets his name from his old address in Canada. The reasoning behind choosing this name was because it was the address he lived at when he decided to follow his dream.
